Hello all the ladies and girls out there! I hope you enjoyed the rains of the season. It’s time to welcome the pleasant and fresh breeze of air, i.e., winters. Soon winters are going to knock the doors of our respective cities, and they will be accompanied by dry weather that will make our skins dry and flaky. Even now, we can feel that dryness and flakiness on our skins.
It is said that our face is the most sensitive part of our body. But, lips are even more sensitive as they have only single layer of skin. Hence, our lips are affected the most by any changes in weather in our surroundings. Our lips become chapped and flaky even post monsoon because of dirt and weird weather.
Hence, to make you have a sigh from those chapped and flaky lips, I have come up with a review of The Body Shop Chocomania Lip Butter.
What Does The Body Shop Claim about the Product?
“This buttery lip moisturizer melts onto the lips for instant hydration. It contains real cocoa butter and has a delicious chocolate flavor.
- Instant hydration
- Buttery texture
- Leaves lips feeling softer and smoother
- Chocolate flavor.”
Cost: INR 295
Quantity: 10 ml
My Verdict on the Product
This lip butter smells so awesome, actually it’s real chocolaty, and its texture is utterly buttery. You need to take very little amount of it that will glide very smoothly onto your entire lips. It is highly moisturizing. Trust me it is nothing less than butter, so you can imagine how it works? It is one perfect solution for your lips in winters. It keeps the moisture intact in its place, whilst leaving lips soft and supple. The biggest attribute of this lip butter is that it doesn’t need to be applied again and again, throughout the day. You just need to apply once, and you’re done for the day. You can also use it as an overnight lip therapy that will work wonders for you.
Let’s sum up the Pros and Cons of this buttery lip butter:
- Chocolaty aroma
- Very buttery. Fulfills your moisturizing needs for winters.
- Leaves your lips soft, supple, and hydrated.
- Little quantity is sufficient to go a long way
- No SPF, which is an objectionable topic for some people.
This is the only con of the product that I can think off.
Cost Effective: 4/5 (a little pricey, but worth it)
Overall Score: 4.6/5 (Excellent Product)
